Best Motorcycle Roads in Europe
Europe packs more legendary riding roads into a small area than anywhere else on Earth. The Alps alone hold the Stelvio, the Grossglockner and the long chain of French passes on the Route des Grandes Alpes — and beyond them lie the Carpathian hairpins of the Transfăgărășan, the cliff road of the Amalfi Coast and the wild coastlines of Scotland and Ireland.
Most of the high passes open only from early summer to autumn, so plan your trip between June and September — and remember that the UK and Ireland drive on the left.
